Breakfast For One

Originally released in 2004, the soundtrack to the movie Garden State is almost an 'oldie' and most definitely a 'goodie'. One of those rare albums that's great from start to finish, this soundtrack is both melancholic and vibey and focusses on indie and college artists with a few electronic twists. You can purchase the entire album here - Various Artists - Garden State (Music from the Motion Picture) - or click on an iTunes link below to just buy that song.

P.S. The movie is pretty darn great too! You can purchase the DVD from Amazon here.

New Feature! Dinner Tunes

Since we love good music as much as we love good food, in this new feature we will be posting soundtrack suggestions to accompany you while cooking or dining. For your convenience, we will provide links to iTunes where you can download all or some of the songs on the playlists with just one click.

To contribute a playlist, please email us your suggested track listing and artist names (preferably 8 - 12 songs per playlist) as well as a title and recommended time to listen (for example, "Anna's Samba Beats - an upbeat mix for when you're cooking or eating a Brazilian feast"). For bonus points, feel free to include a recipe that goes with your playlist.
