We hate this place. Seriously, we don't get why it's so popular. We've tried it a few times hoping that we just caught it on an off night on prior visits but the food at this Red Bank Italian tries to make up in portion size what it lacks in flavor. Service is gruff at best and even cocktails came tasting of olives despite being ordered with a twist. We hear there's a lively upstairs bar scene but have a hard time understanding that either as the sound system in my grandmother's basement sounds less canned. Simply stated, there are so many good restaurants in and around Red Bank that there's just no reason to go to Buona Sera. Go to Basil T's instead.
