Man, oh man, do we love this place! This is the first NJ outpost of celebrity chef Bobby Flay's fast(ish) food burger and milk shake chain (we are told the next is slated to open at the Bergen County Mall in '09). The menu is simple: it offers 10 different burger preparations which can all be comprised of Angus beef, turkey burger, or grilled chicken and are served on a potato bun with lettuce, tomato, red onion and a perfectly crunchy pickle (there is also a bunless option served on a green salad). Also on tap are "griddled cheese" sandwiches (there is a standard and a deluxe), classic sides like crinkle fries, sweet potato fires (our favorite) and thick, beer battered onion rings, as well as fantastic malteds and milkshakes (try the coconut made of fresh coconut). An array of sauces are served on the tables ranging from ketchup and hot sauce to a mysterious "burger sauce" and our fave, the smoky (and spicy) chipotle ketchup. Staff is well-trained and polite but line-ups can still be long as orders are placed at the counter - the food is then served at counter-like communal tables which seem designed to encourage turn-over. Regrettably, unlike the Long Island location, this one does not serve any alcohol.
